I had to enter something in the eBay format when listing, so I entered 1972. I believe it to be a 1972, the first year they were produced because of the gas tank being steel and not plastic and because of the reflector styles and placements. If anyone knows if the correct year (if different), please send me an email…thank you in advanceIt is an untouched and unchanged original machine mechanically , except for the deep snow kit.Last year I installed a “Dan the Man” laser cut and machine welded deep snow kit front and rear. Without the deep snow kit a Kitty Cat machine is limited to use on either snow entirely packed down by other machines, or snow of depths equaling 4 inches or less. However, with this deep snow kit, our son was blazing fresh paths through over 12 inches of fresh wet snow last Winter and blasting through even deeper fresh powder.I will add a picture of it on a workbench before the lift kit was installed to show how low to the ground all stock height Kitty Cats actually are.It IS an Arctic Cat machine. I painted the hood and added Polaris 60 decals. The machine also comes with 2 spare hoods, one is what I believe to be a hood from a 90’s machine with Kitty Cat markings and a small piece broken off the lower front area on hood. The other spare hood is 70’s vintage and painted John Deere green and marked with John Deere markings.The engine is the stock 60cc. unit and starts…. idles…. accelerates…and overall runs great! No problems, ready to ride.The brakes function properly also.The original kill switch on the handlebar is missing, but and aftermarket easy access unit is securely mounted in easy reach of driver directly on the dash area between legs just below handlebars.All the factory plastics covering engine and clutch are in place and not broken.This is a Ready to Ride machine………..
